All of my bookends are packaged by hand in a smoke free environment.
Shipping prices vary per item. Additional shipping and handling fees may apply to multiple items.
We are as concerned about the environment as you are. We use Thick Heavy Duty cardboard boxes and tissue paper to ship our larger items.
Since we know that boxes end up going out in the trash,
we have these novel ideas for recycling the boxes we use:
Cardboard is a sturdy yet compostable material, which makes it a natural solution for a weed problem. Just place flat pieces of cardboard on your weed-prone area, watering thoroughly to help them stay put. When you're done, add soil or mulch on top to camouflage the cardboard. Say Goodbye to those pesky weeds!
Got A Green Thumb? Dress up a simple cardboard box with a few embellishments, then line it with a plastic bag poked with a few drainage holes. Add dirt, seeds, and some love. Now you have a natural planter box!
If you have a smartphone or tablet that plays video, then believe it or not, you can instantly turn any room of your house into an improvised movie theater. Start with a cardboard box that completely closes up. Attach a magnifying glass to the box, then bend a paper clip into a stand for your device. Pop some popcorn and start playing your favorite flick!
Make A Journal! This is the perfect gift for the environmentally conscious person in your life. The materials are quite simple in that it’s made with cardboard, copy paper, and cord. Plus, the cover being made from cardboard makes this book completely customizable. They will look great in your new Bookends By Beth!!!
